Introduction 'And The Beat Goes On'....is a flexible package to make your event special and memorable for you and your guests. We aim to tailor our service to suit your needs. We will ensure that the music played is the genre you desire, we also have the capability to add something special to your evening by offering 'Karaoke slots' so that you and your guests can have your moment in the spotlight. Discos Your DJ/Compere Roy started doing discos in the early 80's and has a love of 70s and 80's soul, the very music to fill a dance floor. 'And The Beat Goes On' provides discos, Karaokes, or a combination of the two. Karaoke Roy had one of the first mobile Karaoke Shows in the UK having imported the equipment from Japan where the craze originated. He is an accomplished singer who will fill that awkward gap at the start of the evening where people are a little shy to get up and will happily sing duets with you or your guests. Childrens Parties Sarah and Roy have two young children, Georgia 7 and Alex 5 years old so we know what children like for their parties and can cater for their musical tastes. We are aware that young children like something special at their discos and our light show is designed to appeal to kids with plenty of shapes to chase. We do not use strobe lighting. We can also provide party bags for you child's young freinds to save you the hassle of buying and bagging. Sarah & Roy are both CRB checked. Our music is aimed at pleasing the majority and we will try to accommodate requests, but we do not have the capabiltiy to play specialist 'Rap', 'Hip Hop' or 'Garage'. This sounds a bit Victor Meldew but we want you to have a happy and satisfying night and DJs need to stick to what they know and the music that is tried and tested to work. | 
We are based in Kent but are happy to travel to London, and the surrounding Home Counties. As everybody's needs are different we are unable to quote a price immediately on a telephone enquiry, but will post or e-mail an enquiry form for you to complete. Should you decide to book us, then you will be provided with a form to tell us particular requests that you would be disappointed if they weren't played at your event, but also name any tracks that would ruin your night - 'The Birdie Song' is the most mentioned.
